Michael Graff is an Austin, Texas based recording artist. He has spent most of his professional life as a musician, songwriter, and producer. In 2014, Michael relocated to Austin, TX to pursue his newest project and released his debut solo EP ‘Dreamers’ in late 2014 and his latest single ‘Firecracker Girl’ in early 2015.

As a musician at heart and therefore a lover of acoustic instruments, Michael also has a love for electronic music and feels that the combination can be incredibly powerful. His goal is to make music that is fresh and exciting to listeners and that stimulates and connects with them in a deep way. “To me, a great song is a great experience.” He says. “That’s what I go for. It has to take you somewhere. It obviously starts with a great hook and some solid lyrics, but it goes much further than that for me personally. I’m very obsessive over every single note, sound (sounds are huge for me), beat, you name it that goes into these songs, because I know how much music alone communicates. That’s one thing about this latest EDM craze right now. Love it or hate it, you can’t deny that it’s much more than music to these people – it’s an experience. And so much of that is created within the music. It’s the same thing with film scores. Music is powerful. Though I’m not an EDM DJ or a film composer, that’s the feeling I want people to have when they listen to my songs. I want people not just to listen to the song but experience it – to really feel it.”
